Charting Career Success: Insights from the Career Craft Event at Scott Christian College

On April 1st, 2024, Srishti Campus and Team Inspire, in collaboration with Scott Christian College, Nagercoil, organized a one-day event named Career Craft. As the name indicates, the program was focused on placement training for future professionals. Placement training plays a pivotal role in shaping an individual’s career trajectory by honing essential skills required to succeed in job interviews and professional settings.

The sessions were handled by our expert faculty of Team Inspire, Mr. Vishnu Prasad M. V., Senior HRO & CSR Manager, Master Trainer in Life Skills & Soft Skills, and Head of Team Inspire. His excellence in the HR profession provided more hands-on experience for students. Self-introduction sessions equip candidates with the ability to succinctly present their qualifications and experiences, highlighting their strengths effectively. Sessions on interview questions help candidates anticipate and prepare responses to common and challenging interview inquiries, enhancing their confidence and performance during interviews.

Training in interview body language enables candidates to convey professionalism, confidence, and engagement through non-verbal cues, leaving a positive impression on interviewers. In essence, placement training encompasses a holistic approach to preparing candidates for the competitive job market, equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to secure rewarding career opportunities.
