LEAD 2024: Empowering Kerala’s Community Leaders with Essential Skills
LEAD 2024, the prestigious three-day leadership program organized by Team Inspire & Srishti Campus in association with Alpha Palliative Care, was held from May 21 to May 23, 2024, at Veli Youth Hostel, Thiruvananthapuram. The event brought together Community Welfare Officers from various districts across Kerala for an immersive leadership training experience.
The sessions were handled by experienced experts in Team Inspire like Vishnu Prasad, Senior HRO & CSR Manager, Master Trainer in Life skills & Soft skills, Head of Team Inspire, Sujith Surendran, Program Coordinator Cum Corporate Trainer, team Inspire, Certified Life Skill & Soft Skill Trainer and Akhila Chandran, Corporate Trainer, Team Inspire, Certified Life Skill and Soft Skill trainer.
The first day started in an Ice-breaking session – Connecting Hearts and Minds sessions on Leadership dynamics, Change management, and Conflict resolution, concluding with an engaging campfire and day evaluation. The sessions provided practical approaches to managing conflicts and fostering collaboration within teams.
The second day focused on Communication, Team- Building, and Self- Awareness, with unique activities like the, Games workshop, Walk with Mentor and the serene Candle Light Café. Participants engaged in activities aimed at improving public speaking, leadership styles, and personal strengths.
The final day emphasized on Imagination and Visualization, Relationship Management and Coping Skills, ending with the Kalashakottu celebration and the distribution of feedback and certificates. The sessions covered essential skills for managing professional relationships, including trust-building, effective communication, and maintaining positive workplace interactions.
The program, characterized by a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical activities, provided participants with a holistic leadership development experience, equipping them with the necessary skills to lead effectively in their communities. The three-days residential camp was ended up with roller-coaster of emotions and experiences.
